How to Use a Facebook “Likes” Campaign to Build a MASSIVE Following of Your EXACT Target Audience

crowd of fans at a concert

What if you could use Facebook to reach people who have already self-identified as interested in whatever it is that you do?

Would it be helpful as an essential oils rep to be able to reach people who already use all natural products, who read natural health and wellness magazines, and who buy organic food?

Would it be helpful as a fitness coach to be able to reach people who are trying to lose weight?  Or people who already attend a gym and are likely to buy fitness products?

Using Audience Insights combined with a Facebook "likes" campaign will allow you to find your EXACT target audience and get them to opt in to learn more about what it is that you do.

Is there anything more valuable to you as a network marketer than having a list of people who have ALREADY said "Yes!  I am interested in what you do.  Tell me more."?

With these simple steps, you can start building that list right now.  In the next 20-60 minutes you can literally start building your "warm list" on Facebook of people who have raised their hand and said "Yes!  Tell me more about what you do."

So let's get you started!

1. Set Up Your Facebook Fan Page

The first thing you'll need to prospect like a pro on Facebook is a Facebook fan page.  While you can promote your company and products on your personal profile - to an extent - you need, need, NEED a fan page to make this strategy work.

If you're a total beginner and want to know how to set up a Facebook fan page, just watch this video below.

You're only 10 minutes away from having a professional home on social media.

Some quick tips on setting up your Facebook fan page....

1. Brand YOU, not your company.  You want to be seen as an expert in your niche market, not just a representative of some bigger company.

Use your full name, or come up with a brandable phrase (i.e. something catchy and relevant to what you do).

2. Use an image of you.  The more people see your face, the more they will come to feel like they know you, and the more they will trust you.

3. Make sure that you are not just promoting your products and your business on your fan page.  You should be sharing educational, inspirational, and/or entertaining content that your target audience is likely to enjoy.

2. Set Up Your Facebook Ads Account

You're going to use your Facebook ads account for 2 things:

1. Creating ads.

2. Using Audience Insights to find where your target market hangs out.

If you don't already have an ads account, creating one is super simple (and it's free to set up).  Just click on the little arrow in the top right corner of your Facebook bar and select "Create Ads".

That will automatically set up your ads account for you.

3. Find Your Target Audience

When you are promoting your business page on Facebook, you want to make sure that you are putting yourself in front of people who are likely to buy your products or join your business.

In order to do that, you need to figure out who your target audience is.  You will have to determine age, gender, location, and interests, and possibly other demographics.

Are you promoting essential oils and want to target young moms who want to learn how to use cleaner and safer products around the house?

Are you with a fitness company and want to target gym-goers?

Are you with a nutritional supplements company and want to target young men with sports injuries that can be helped by your products?

Determining WHO your target audience is will allow you to speak directly to them.  You will be able to speak to their exact problems and offer them the exact solutions that they are looking for.

Go too broad with your targeting and you risk your audience saying, "I don't really know how this applies to me..."

Get it right, and you're audience will be thinking, "S/he is talking about the EXACT thing that I have been struggling with!  Where has this person been all my life?"

4. Promote Your Page

Your image should be the same image that's on your Facebook fan page (your banner) or a picture or you.

Your text should be something super simple and straightforward.

What works really well is "Click "like" to get ____________________________".  And simply describe what they're going to get.

"Click like to get daily DIY essential oil recipes."

"Click like to get daily nutritional & supplement tips for beating common ailments and combating sports injuries."

"Click like to learn what's really in your favourite skin care products and how to detoxify your skin care routine."

Short, sweet, and to the point.

Next, promote your page on mobile news feed only.  Desktop newsfeed can be effective but is more expensive.  Audience network is too broad.  And don't touch Instagram unless you're already a pro at Instagram.

If you get your targeting right, and you are putting the right offer in front of the right eyeballs, you can grow your audience really fast for little money.

I run a likes campaign for each of my businesses and brands constantly in the background.  My best targeting and messaging has gotten me $0.36 likes.

That means that I get a new person who has said "Yes!  I want what you are offering, and I am interested in hearing more about what you do" for only $0.36.  I now have their attention and can advertise to them for FREE indefinitely.
