How to Add Hyperlinks In a Blog Comment

One thing that is super important for getting your website ranked in the search engines is having earned backlinks.

Basically, that means that the more legitimate links there are out there that are pointing back to your website (not spammy links that you can pay people to post for you), the better.

One excellent way to get earned backlinks to your site is to comment on blogs in your niche market and link back to your site when relevant.

You can add a hyperlink to your comment using a simple piece of html code.

Just type < a href="http://livesimpleliveorganic.com/seo-tip-for-blogs/" >SEO Tips for Blogs< /a >.

Leave out the spaces before and after the “<" brackets, and you'll get a hyperlink that looks like this: SEO Tips for Blogs

In a comment, it’ll look like this….

What this does is to tell the search engines that your website has information about this topic (i.e. whatever keyword you used as your anchor text).  The more relevant websites (not spammy websites) that point back to your site saying, “Yeah, this girl knows about this thing here”, the more likely you are to pop up on the first page of a search for that topic.
